The project EcceChina kicks off!

The project EcceChina (European Olive Oil Symbol of Mediterranean Culture to Satisfy Oriental Tastes) kicks off! It is a three-year information and promotion programme for European extra virgin olive oil to be implemented in China, co-financed by Unaprol and the European Union.
The project will bring consumers and professionals into a sensory journey of discovery of extra virgin olive oil. Many initiatives will be carried out, including communication activities on social media, study trips to Europe, institutional workshops, promotion at restaurants and at points of sale in China.
The project is aimed at increasing the level of recognition of the quality certification of European PDO and PGI olive oils and improving the competitiveness and consumption of olive oil produced in the Union, raising its image profile, knowledge, as well as increasing its market share in China.
